RWS Excalibre (Same as X2000 and RWS Rapier) trigger wont cock after reassembly.

Dear Sirs / Madams,

MY RWS Excalibre (Same as FX2000 and RWS Rapier) trigger wont cock after re-assembly. 

This means the trigger wont engage and the rifle won't cock.

Any advice please?

I had the same issue years ago. I had to work the action out of the stock and put it back in a time or two and it worked. Not the best explanation but it's what I recall.

Another thing to look at is to see if the trigger is not set too light....might have loosened during reassembly. Call AoA if all above doesn't work as they did or do carry Diana/RWS products and service them.
