Daisy Shutting down Crosmans Bloomfield NY Plant

Bill is right about a sudden boost in sales. I'm good partwise on my 13xx guns but guess I better get a small list together for my original 362. I have nothing related to that one other than some 13xx valves and two modified barrel bands. A couple pistons definitely, a pump arm linkage or two as well.

It is indeed the end of an era... No museum, no crosman FT, no custom shop... and soon enough you wont be able to buy parts... neither from Daisy or crosman. Has anyone tried to get Gamo to send them parts? impossible to say the least...
Plus anyone noticed that the day Daisy got bought out by Gamo, the daisy 880 went from 35$ to 70$? the RR up to 35 from 25, the buck from 18 to 30... nothing changed but the overlords...

That pretty much killed the 105 for me.
At $17-$20 I can't count how many I've bought and modified, but at $30 that extra $10 +tax just adds enough risk to potentially ruining the gun that it's not worth it anymore.

They're still a good 1st air gun for 7 year olds as intended though.

“Everything being moved to Arkansas”. So none of the senior employees who are skilled at making guns... Not that I think they’ll make anything there, all Daisy’s are made in China they just keep an office in the state.

Dang. Hard to say. I feel spoiled by crosman customer service compared to other brands (except for those who show up on gta).

Not to mention the kind and generous interaction we sometimes have with their engineers. If those folks are based out of the new York plant, that will probably be a thing of the past as well.

I got what few things I needed ordered yesterday. Some lady as always, very friendly and very helpful.

 I would guess one of the after market vendors would buy the existing parts inventory for discontinued guns but probably raise the prices.  At least they may be available for a while if the do.  It does not seem likely to me that Daisy would maintain parts for discontinued Crosman guns.

I would like to HOPE that they would sell the parts, however.........they THREW AWAY, DISPOSED OF, S**T CANNED thousands
of parts for the US made 2100 Rifles. INTO THE DUMPSTER...... LITERALLY !!

So, if THAT is any indication, we all may be S.O.L ...........

I don't think it's been said in this thread yet so I'm just going to toss it out there...
Daisy has a pretty good reputation for customer service and parts... things could be alot worse if someone else bought Crosman out.
I'm not sure if the CMP program uses Crosman airguns. I think it's mostly Daisy. I hope they involve more Crosman stuff now.

Well things from china aren't going to be as cheap anymore. Who knows, some of crosman's products might start being made here again.🤩

Well, they updated the website late December, looks more like the Daisy one now. And they've also done away with free shipping (closer to $15 now) charge sales tax, and no 20% coupon. We had it pretty good the last few years...

Because Crosman's customer service has always supported their products so enthusiastically they built up a dependable market of hobbyist for parts and accessories.  This spawned a healthy aftermarket industry for Lego gun parts.  Crosman's CS enabled a lot of us to take our shooting hobby to the next level and actually build and tune guns.  I'm afraid that is going to end.  I hope the aftermarket folks can step up and keep providing parts and upgrades so I can keep on enjoying my favorite guns.
