Why hasn't anyone tried to attach a small compressor to the air chamber/valve on an airgun?
It would totally eliminate having to pump or cock the gun, and would eliminate the cost of Co2. The only cost would be in batteries and pellets, and I guess you could even get the rechargeable kind if it ended up using a lot of battery power.
It could be mounted inside a cutout on a rifle stock, or pistol stock extender...or even attached inside the the grip or pump handle area on a properly designed handgun.
I don't know if a compressor like that one would provide enough power to pump a valve full enough, but I'm sure someone could figure out how to make one...

a regular shop compressor is about 120 PSI, my scuba tank is at 3,000 PSI and i only fill my disco to 2000
a shoebox compressor will kick the pressure up enough to fill scuba tanks though, im just not sure at what speed it will do it

Interesting...
I don't know much about compressors, or how big they have to be to put out x amount of pressure.
I'm guessing a 'shoebox' compressor is small, but still too big and bulky to attach to a gun..
