I'd send it back to Field Supply, let them know what's wrong with and that you tried to get it resolved with the Manufacturer but they did not resolve it to your satisfaction. Field Supply is a major distributor for Hatsan, they should know that what they are getting from Hatsan does not measure up to their standards and are creating unhappy, dissatisfied customers. They have a bigger voice with Hastan than any of us do. If this isn't resolved between the vendor and distributor, then these bad products will continue to be shipped to customers.
Maybe the real moral here is not to buy them from FS? I got mine from Musa. Even Azn sent wrong one...
I've bought a couple guns from FS and and haven't had any problems with them. It's not the distributor, it's simply Hatsan, like every other company out there, churns out the occasional bad rifle. It comes down to quality control at the factory and the end seller can't open and check every rifle they bring in to sell.
Yeah. Especially after their new USA expansion to their facilities. Don't wanna slack off and give the company a bad name in their biggest market. They're even taking back the Optima scope that came with the striker 1000x .22 I bought and had on the Crosman 160 Pellgun when it stopped holding zero. Gotta box it up and pay to send it back.
