An HW 55 CM match rifle, built in the early 1980's. The stock is a rather rare variation of this classic, and it's currently wearing a Redfield Olympic rear sight on an Anschutz-made adapter.

Mike,’
I bought (actually traded my FWB65 MKII for it)the last HW55T (N) from Bob Beeman at his store in Santa Rosa.
I was working up in Mendocino County at the time and decided I didn’t need the pistol any longer and always wanted the walnut 55T.
I shot it about 10 times and put it back in the box (es) where it stayed for about 10 years.
Then I posted it for sale on the AA Classifieds and it sold to a shooter in Spokane, WA…
$1000.00 + S=H…

Hi Frank!
I've been an HW 55 fan for years and have several. I have bored this forum with pics of this particular one before LOL, but figgered it was a good subject for trying out the forum's revised gun-by-brand format.

Mike,
Nice to see you post something about the venerable HW55. I also like the new GTA format by manufacturer.
As you know I acquired a CM. I am still warming up to it. The T is so much more comfortable for 10m work and the latest made 55 I have with the beyern stock, finger groove fore end and no accessory rail is my next favorite and MOST favorite for a scope (which it has worn).
As you said though, the CM is a rare bird so since I have one I am hanging onto it just because, lol.
