I need the part number for the M4-177 barrel and for the press on front sight for a 760.
Id appreciate the info.

I think the number you want is MK 177-010. That's the replacement barrel for a 760 now. it is 16.75 inches long.
I don't have the number for the front sight.

Crosman will tell you M4-177 barrel 417-005 is discontinued.
Replaced with Mk 177-010.
I have the barrel and the plastic mount(in the receiver) now, and no more use for it.
I was given a like new 760-D so got rid of the other stuff.

The plan ( I hope I'm not wrong ) is to put a rifled barrel into the 781 I've got coming, as well as one into my dad's AIR-17 for him.
Now that I think about it I probably don't need the front sight though, based on pictures I think the rear is also welded on and I might just get a set of 853 sights to put on it.
This may make an awesome target style setup for indoor plinking.

no sights whatsoever on the replacement barrel, but Alchemy Airwerks sells rear sights that will snap on.

Oh I sorry, I was talking about the original barrel on the 781 I plan to put it on.
It appears the rear sight is also welded on ( I see no screws and it's definitely not the snap on kind ).
There's no point ordering the front sight if I won't have a rear sight, and if I've gotta buy both I might as well buy something much better.

If you don't own one this may not make much sense, but essentially the Air17 is a 781 with a few cosmetic additions.
The barrel band and stocks are different, but the receiver is actually the same and just has a carry handle assembly that slides on.

I had an AIR for a very short time! Got it from a yard sale, wouldn't pump. Replaced the large o ring on the pump and it worked fine.
Living close quarters in an apartment building and didn't want to upset the neighbors or the police. No mag with it. Traded it off.

Thought abt doing this to my AIR-17. It’s a surprisingly consistent (accurate) shooter with some pells, for a smoothbore.
Have to imagine a rifled barrel would make a real shooter out of it.

I helped my dad finally score an Air17 last year and it is fairly consistent for what it is, but it will get a rifled barrel when I order one for the 781.
Another plus side to replacing the barrel is that I don't have to worry about the rust on the original.

The carry handle / mag assembly might slide on a 760 or 66, but that's about it since the stock mounts differently. ( I think it mounts like the 766/2100 )
Have you seen the Crosman outbacker ?
It's another gun based around the 781 receiver / internals, I'm not sure I want one but they are kind of unique and Interesting.

They have this very Interesting magnified faux scope sight thing, and even come with a water bottle in the stock.
The stock is just an AIR-17 stock with a logo moulded in.
My theory is that they wanted to make use of the stock mould since they had dropped the AIR-17 for safety concerns based on " realism ".
