It's always been a special gun to me, even when I didn't have it with me. I'm definitely keeping it to pass down to one of my daughters, or a grandson someday.Gary, I read your comment about the bolt and got to looking closer. It really looks factory to me, so I googled and searched images for the 310, and found two others just like it. One of the people that posted a pic of his said it was a 1940's model, so maybe they made them like this early on? I'm going to try to find out more about it, but it could end up that he did the bolt after all, who knows? I also like that he carved his initials into the stock, which are also my initials.
