To OP, I find better luck at swap meets and antique shows. When I lived up north, there was a small 'antique' show at the local fairgrounds every few months. I got to know some of the vendors. Turns out they go around to estate and yard sales, buy up stuff, then take it to the antique show. After a couple of shows, pretty quickly there were airguns showing up. Yes, I paid more than they did for them, but then I didn't have to drive around every weekend to every yard sale in the county. They were on the lookout for stuff that I wanted and would smile bigly when they saw me at the antique show. Let them do the work for you.
I had a chance to go to two Airgun shows this year. New York and Kalamazoo, 70 tables all airguns!
Last gun show I went to cost the same as Marty mentioned. Admission doubled for two of us. I found one air gun. A rusted Chinese B2. The guy said "I'll let you have that for $60". I just had to walk away without saying anything.
I'll tell you what Steve, if i locate a Model F I'll trade you straight across for this one; http://www.ujays.net/sb20.html Well...off to the races. Balloon Fiesta this weekend. Traffic's going to be a mad house...
Will probably get one & put a scope on it.
I doubt you'll find one buy you should keep an eye out for a Crosman Canadian boyThey were made in Canada out of the crosman 130 pistol valve...ect and would later prompt crosman to develop the powermaster 760.( Not my pic just found it online )
