Air Gun Gate / Re: What airgun related did you do today?« Last post by Whirligig on Today at 12:10:23 PM »Sighted one of my "Diana" p-five's in using 7.87-grain H&N Excite Hammer pellets, which are becoming one of my favorite low-powered air pistol pellets. They were $6.99/500 for a while on Amazon, but now they're an absurd $14.49.
After getting over the p-five's low power and heavy (but short) trigger's second stage, I now think that it is actually a cool low-effort, accurate, and fun little aluminum can popper. It's currently $62.36 on Amazon. The pistol looks and feels like a "shoot it until something breaks, and then throw it away and buy another one" design. I'd describe it as the Beeman P17 of spring-piston air pistols, which I actually consider to be pretty high praise. -W 2

Back Room / Re: Good morning! Are you up yet? What's your plans for today?« Last post by Madd Hatter on Today at 11:50:37 AM »Wife is down in Prescott today for a couple of med appointments then she MIGHT go to Costco for some food. I'm suppose to spray some quicker slicker on our 14 year old shepherd and brush her out so it won't be as bad grooming her tomorrow. It seems like you can brush on her all day long. Fill a trash 🗑️ with her fur and she's still needs to be brushed.😡 I love German shepherds but I don't think we'll ever get another one. She was a rescue and was so skinny when she came to us. Turned out she's a EPI dog.
