Clamping it to your shirt is mandatory... just as shooting your chronograph is also mandatory. You are not a “real” air gunner unless you have done both.
Curses! I've been foiled again!!I've been reading this thread and got curious about this P17. So I bought one. Its your fault!!I do have a question though: Am I supposed to clamp it to my shirt? The mechanism of the action is very interesting. I'd describe it as a mix between a break-barrel and a multipump.I wonder if its possible to put that technology on to a bullpup platform and upscale it to higher power.
OK. You got me. I have some gift money at Amazon so I ordered the kit with the Beeman red dot. Same day delivery....can't beat that!!Figures that tonight is the one rare night that I have to work. Think anyone will hear it around say, midnight?
So I'm already modding it (in my mind). I have a spare Crosman barrel lying around somewhere. What exactly needs to be done to the barrel to make it fit? Just a bit of turning to change the OD?
after you shoot it ,you might just leave the barrel alone lol i know mine isnt going anywhere i havent had a crosman barrel shoot quite like this before, just sayin LOL
Cut a section out of a bicycle inner tube and stretch it over the grip... you'll be surprised.

Put three layers of aluminum tape on the face of my piston tonight and wrapped one layer down the side to O-ring land. Went from 387 to 417.
