But my ALL Time Favorite is "Pictorial History of the Korean War"... Dad was a Marine on the Inchon Landing and there is a photo of it with him shown.M.A.S.H. ain't got nothing on this... Yet he loved that show.
I was going from 50 year old memory... you are probably right. Are you detecting a pattern of what I read? NON Fiction.. History buff.
WOW! Just 1 book?I have thousands that I love and a handful I would burn. There are several you all have listed that I have not read so i will add them to my list but I just finished the John Reacher series (what was available) and have really enjoyed them.
Probably Jack Reacher by Lee Child.I like Lee's Jack Reacher novels. Also a big fan of Stephen Hunter (Earl and Bob Lee Swagger).I love Ann Rice too
if i had to pick 1 book of the many i've enjoyed over the years it would have to be....The Unlikely Voyage of Jack de Crowit's a simple tale of a Welshman who takes time off from his professor duties to sail a 10' Mirror dingy from North Wales to the Black Sea. the man has no real sailing experience, but perseveres anyway, telling his tale with great wit and humor. i have read dozens of books about small craft on big adventures, and Mackinnon tells his in a way that makes you hope the journey never ends.

I especially like the Jack Reacher novels. They basically have one story line.
when it comes to a series of books and a specific author it would have to be Tim Dorsey. i picked up Atomic Lobster from a Salvation Army store years ago because i liked the title and thought it would look good in my den. after reading it and almost falling out of my chair laughing, i bought the entire series to date.
I think you will like F. Paul Wilson's Repairman Jack series too.It borders on the occult, but also with lots of raw action

Dr Seuss books. Especially the ones that offends these snowflakes that seem to want to cancel/censor everything they deem offensive. Bunch of freak'n idiots!
