Fast cars are fun but being on a motor vs in a cage speaksto me more. My first triple on my Kowi almost ended me as I crotched the third bump coming down 30'. Broke the frame and I thought I'd broken my pelvis as well! Those were the days! Quote from: Rocker1 on February 16, 2021, 07:48:30 AMSame here just no military but lots of old fast cars some without seatbelts that I was thrown out of at high speeds. Learned real early to play drunk and go limp so no broken bones just lots of road rash and torn cartilage and tendons. I am still mentally 18 in an old worn out body. Thinking about what I used to do even hurts now. I am with you brother but the military dang near killed me in more ways than one, I am still doing the fast cars one of them is almost a death sentance lol!!! David

Are you referring to what we call Coban? It's the stretch tape that sticks to itself. It was originally called vet wrap, because before we started using it in medical, you could get it at vet supply stores to use for wrapping horses' legs.
I have been racing since i was 18 and still am at 69,David
It’s been a week since I woke with a dull pain in my right foot. It steadily got worse through the day until, by evening I was limping around. That night I had fitful sleep as I could not get comfortable. Ibuprofen helped a little. Three days pass and I’m in agony, and finally call the Kaiser Advice nurse, and did a video visit with a doc. The outside and top of my foot was an angry red by now and swollen. Doc said he ordered an X-ray, but that his initial diagnosis was Gout, especially since I had no injury.I had gout one time in my twenties and none since my current ripe old age of 62.Got meds, and I’m way better now. But I am having to re-examine my diet, and cut way back on red meat and other foods that trigger gout, including my favorite GF Beer, Fish Sauce, red meat, cured meats, dried mushrooms, MSG, other alcohol etc. I’m already restricted to Gluten Free due to celiac, and low carbs due to type two diabetes. There just isn’t much fun in food these days. Bah.Foot pain is pretty miserable.
Next time you think you have gout, eat a bunch of cellery. I've had a mild case of gout before and it cleared it up real quick. The recommended thing to take is celery seed but eating the celery will help until you can get some celery seeds.
I had a few street bikes too but I really just cruised on them, I picked up too many kids off the road with a scoop shovel when I was running with an ambulance crew in my 20's to ever race one on a street. On dirt? Now your talkin!!

On dirt? Now your talkin!!Never said I raced on the street, just play as in wide open interstate with no traffic or back country roads also with no traffic. I have not survived 50 plus years on two wheels by being stupid. I just have a need for speed that will not be quenched ever but I do not put others lives at risk only my own which IMO is my right as in "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness".Now my SC500 is a 73 model that is a single piston two stroke dirt bike that weighs 210 LBS with 45hp on the ground at the rear tire with 4 gears and factory sprockets does 105 mph and will wheelie at 80 mph shifting from 3td to 4th with just a twist of the throttle, no clutching or bouncing the front end required just throttle only. Now that's fun in my book. I have yet to come up on another dirt bike of the same CC sized engine that can even come close to its top speed. All other top out at 75 or 80 mph right where I shift from 3rd to 4rh and wave goodbye on the rear wheel. Been down more times than I can even try to remember but still here and kicking. Never ride faster than your angels can fly. My whole body hurts every day but would not do anything different and have no regrets. My day will come when its my time and not before.BD

I recall going as fast as my Suzuki TM125 would go around a big sweeper, and he passed me in a full lock power slide like I was sitting still. Oh the rooster tail. He did have issues keeping that thing running, and ended up rebuilding top end every other race. I often wonder what happened to Ricky. Dude would have been an exceptional flat tracker / TT Scrambles racer.
Thanks all, my PT said the same and that even if I got off it completely for a month, it could take that long to feel the relief. Ice and sitting sure feel good as well as massaging the attached muscle groups. Getting old sure is awful!

I take this one and it helps with my tendon pains and I recover from soreness faster.
