Yep, and I will get heart burn from it, it will keep me up all night trying to get back out my mouth if I have salad for dinner. I can get by eating a salad for lunch as long as I do not lay down for 8 or more hours afterwards. That salad looked to me like it was lacking a lot of stuff too, I am sure they didn’t focus on it, LOL. I am so glad that I can eat all the rest. Spicy doesn't bother me, acidic and greasy I have to be careful with, thankfully there was not greasy food there, so I didn’t have to avoid anything except the rabbit food.

It goes down significantly easier when accompanied by meat.
I can get heartburn from just water too, I have to take proton pump inhibitors morning and evening. I get heartburn from lettuce no matter how I eat it, it just does not want to digest in me. I like and eat a lot of cooked veggies and raw carrots.
For heartburn, set yourself up with a Gastroenterology doctor. You don't want heartburn to fester long. It will/can cause Esophageal cancer. That's what happen to my Dad. It's a slow and painful death of the worst kind. Be smart...My Dad thought a Tums/Rolaids would work and could skip the doctors...They don't. I use to get heartburn bad. My Dad's doctor warned my Brother and I about heartburn. I did what I am suggesting to you and take Pantoprazole once each day. I can eat what I want now and don't get even close to heartburn. It's a real joy to be able to not worry about heartburn anymore.Bacon and eggs with toast and milk for breakfast.
Sorry to read, Dan. I have been stretched twice myself. The Pant.. has been working well for me for the last three years. I wasn't able to eat fried foods without paying a very heavy price afterwards with heartburn. I don't eat much fried these days either, but now I can without issues. I hope that will continue.Today, or yesterday I guess it is now was my wife's 60th. Mine is exactly a month away from hers for the same. We started out with bacon and eggs. Lunch was grilled Kobe hamburgers. I made mine a bacon burger with jalapenos. Dinner was grilled Pensacola bay shrimp and zucchini with sautéed mushrooms with real butter on the stove top and seasoned potatoes in the "little oven". We went for a walk after lunch. I also made a B'day card on the fridge dry eraser board that said 60 is 6 perfect ten's with a B'day cake in multiple colors that she woke up to. She settled down with a new book after dinner. She didn't want anything material wise.
I know you meant to say 60th, Dinh. Thanks!
Breakfast was a hot breakfast sandwich with eggs bacon and cheese, second breakfast was Vanilla Yogurt with blue berries & granola.
I had my best friend die of Esophageal cancer too. We had the same problems and symptoms, we both got diagnosed about the same time but it was too late for him, he died at 44 years old. I had to have my esophagus stretched because I could only swallow liquids for a while due to scar tissue closing it up mostly. If I am not careful and wash down starchy foods they will stick occasionally even if well chewed. (I always chew my food real well.)
Susan made another killer chicken and mushroom enchilada dish for dinner tonight!
Bratwurst with onions, kraut and three mustards for lunch.Toasted marshmallow by the fire thus evening.
