Still following along. Good choice on the 177 Fortitude bolt. The one from the 1720T will not work because the cocking lug is in a different place. The Mrod 177 mag will work, but requires a rear shim and flat sanding the bottom. The Prod breech can flex at the mag well, so want to be careful of machining it deeper. The mag sanding takes it to the point where it is close to breaking through, though.

So you're running a SSG with a reg? Don't think I've seen that done before. Have you gone through the reg to be sure it isn't causing ES bigger than you like? I assume you have, sorry if I missed it.
