New Marauder Fill Port/Gauge From HUMA
«

A couple of weeks ago, motorhead told us about the HUMA fill port and gauge for the Marauders that have been regulated with a HUMA regulator. With the regulator, the onboard gauge just reads the regulator pressure and you do not know how much air you have on board.
I understand it uses a Cricket type fill probe...
The new addition allows you to know what air is available...
I sent for one on March 1st, they shipped on March 3rd, and it arrived today (12).
(US Customs had it in New York for three days.)
Installation was too easy, even for a retired air traffic controller:

I ordered one and received it today also. At first it was leaking, so I tightened the gauge because it seemed to be just finger tight. It then held air, but the gauge on the quick fill adapter read zero. I sent an email to Huma-Air asking for suggestions. To my surprise and satisfaction they responded within 2 hours and suggested that the air gauge may be too tight. I loosened it 1/8th turn and bingo, it’s now reading 200 Bar!
It really is a nice addition to a regulated Marauder. My YH gauge is off by about 500-600 psi, so filling the Mrod was always a guessing game. It’s now nice to know when I have a full air tank! I will probably order another for my other regulated Mrod!

Same thing happened to me Paul.
I barely had enough time to get my finger off of the enter button when they returned my email with the remedy.
I just ordered another probe...You know...

Since you both had the stock one and the new one in your hands, how much more does the Huma fill port weigh than the stock one? It looks like it could be a few ounces, which of course is out near the end of the gun. Just curious, and it is not on their web site . . .

If I were planning to keep my Marauder I would consider that gauge even though I am not a huge fan of fill probed due to there not being any standardization from on manufacturer to the next so 5 rifles can equal 5 different fill probes were Foster equals Foster no matter who built the rifle or pistol. As far as the weight, I would guess the Huma is probably a couple ounces more just because of the gauge, but I don't have a scale to see for sure.
I liked the one I got so much, I ordered a 2nd one this morning for my other Mrod!
Here is my solution to the myriad of fill probes I have for various air rifles...

That is exactly what I am talking about if the AG manufacturers would agree to a standard like that for the Foster fill adapters I would not dislike fill probes as much as I do. I have 3 SPA guns and two different fill probes
. It is not like these guys are competing for a share of the AG fill probe market they are selling AG's the fill probed are just that and should be one or two standardized sizes one for rifle fill and another for pistol fills that would just make more sense than the rampant hodgepodge of fill probes out there.

Well, in all fairness, the 3 on the right side of the holder are all the same size. One is from Evanix, one is from Hatsan and the 3rd is an aftermarket one I got off eBay that fits both the Hatsan and Evanix. I could remove and put away 2 of them, but would probably forget where I put them, if and when I would need them again!
The 3 on the left fall into your complaint department! All 3 are different sizes, one each for the Move Vista, SPA Varmint and the new Huma Quick Fill for the Mrod!

I bought it cause I like the looks of it.
I will probably not need it and will probably give it away.
Scott has the Marauder shooting 90 shots at 895fps.
An FT match locally (I do not travel to shoot FT) rarely exceeds 60 shots.
