I don't know what PP is reading but OSHA/DOT state the standard. In fact from an additional fire site as quoted- Carbon composite/Kevlar cylinders must have a hydrostatic test every three (3) to five (5) years - depending on the manufacturer of the cylinder - and both hoop-wrapped and full-wrapped fiberglass cylinders must have a hydrostatic test every three (3) years.
