Bought one online, awhile back for abt $55. Now they seem impossible to find.
This one’s a .22, came drenched in Yak-butter and needing a tune, real bad. After some simple mods turned out to be a fun plinker and thumps pretty hard. Wonder why the supply dried up on these?

They're still for sale.

They're still for sale.
Where? Googling might find a used one..
The model I’m looking for is a sidelever with a folding stock. Not really interested in the ubiquitous underlevers. That Amazon link is thick with those

Anthony...I looked around and I did not see anyone that is currently selling the BAM B-30 side lever or the BAM B5-1 ( AK 47 ) sidelever either. The last advertisement for one was dated 2011. I think that they are still made in China but nobody seems to want to import & sell them here in the U.S. anymore. Don't know why either. Good luck in your search. Best Wishes - Tom

I've got one of these: http://yhst-139878093962642.stores.yahoo.net/b5aksifo.html (http://yhst-139878093962642.stores.yahoo.net/b5aksifo.html)
I think I got a bad one, though. The sear wasn't properly heat treated and it rounded off. My hand got a good slap between the stock and the cocking lever. I've since fixed it and havent had any further issues. It is a really solid shooter now.

Does it have a manufacture's name on it? I've got a .22 BAM B3-1 AK. Got it off Gunbroker 3-4 years ago. Mine has the same scope mount as the Mrod B5-1 AK. Who ever had your's before probably got the AK47 recoil pad, flash suppressor and pistol grip from the guy on the other channel we don't speak of back when he had them in stock. Way back I got 12 of those AK slings off ebay. Got'em on my two AK's, two TS45's and my Hatsan 155, Dominator carbine and Proxima. Also have the AK slings on my Mendozas that came with sling mounts. Don't care for leather slings.
When I put the suppressor on the BAM I ground the back upper corners down so I could still adjust the front sight with my AK/SKS adjustment tool then three bangs with a hammer and it's never come off. Got see-thru scope mounts so I can still use the open sight.
My other AK in .177 has Peak stamped on it. Doesn't have the scope mount. Not sure but I think Peak became BAM then became XS or SPA.

Bought mine new. A Xisico.
Don’t remember the importer. The add-ons came from various sources.
I rebuilt it with a Maccari spring for the old BSA Meteor. Does 560’s with .22 Hobbies.

Pretty sure the current ones are Snow Peak.
