Title: Chrony test of Challenger Plainsman

First chance back from the auction to finally test fire the Challenger pistol.  I had the power adjustment turned way down as I dry fired it in the house.  Just a little sound.  Tested with a Crosman Premier 14.3 pellet.  No sound at all and it was 110 FPS.  So I turned it all the way up.  It was literally like a 22 LR going off, yikes! The neighbors!  That was 414 FPS.  Turned it down and got a very pleasant pop and 300 FPS.  Good for the backyard.  Infinitely variable which gives you a lot of options and of course the shoots per cartridge depend on where you are with it.  Further testing and accuracy will have to wait for a warmer day out on the backyard range.  Looks good in a couple days. 

Seriously at full power this is crazy loud!

Thank you for the initial report! I was looking at the picture again on the other thread. Is one longer than the other or is it just an optical allusion from how the barrel is held to the body at the muzzle?

Thanks, the barrels are the same length. Looks like the power of mine is very similar.
