Leaving target out in the elements
(1/1)
Blam62:
I am putting together a field target course on my property and I am wonder what the general consensus is regarding leaving targets out in the elements (not snow and ice). I find it quite the chore to set up every time I want to shot (3-4 times a week ). I was thinking of leaving the targets out and just pulling in the reset lines. Opinions??
Thanks!!

Been doing it for years, you will just have to refresh the paint a little more often.
I also use metal for my spinner racks, (weatherproof)
I use old discarded political posters with plastic pushpins for paper targets. (Weatherproof)
I have one of those small dump trailers that pull behind your lawn mower. I use it to pickup and store my 6 spinner racks. And then only if my wife wants the back yard clear for entertaining.

Mine stay out.

I keep mine out too, just remember to not run them over with a lawn mower :) Sometimes a bit of oil to keep em moving.
