Thanks to all for your great responses! I agree that these Sheridans shoot great and are very accurate. Thank you 19Seridan57 for that link! They look as good as any and you can’t beat the price. I went for them. Another question. Do you folks pump your Blue and Silver Streaks up to the maximum of 8 pumps as Sheridan advised in their owner manuals or do you go for even more pumps like say 10? I remember when I had my original Blue Streak years ago, I always pumped it up to 10 pumps and sometimes even 12 looking for that extra power.I have to admit, being much older now, , 8 pumps is about all I can handle now especially when shooting a lot.
Good info! Thank you.I remembered I had Beeman’s R1 and R10 springers back in the day. Expensive, powerful and quality rifles but heavy and very large. However, the Blue Streaks and Silver Streaks were always my favorites. So light and compact yet still powerful and about 1/10th the price at the time! I’m very happy to get this one back! One more question. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement roll pin for the cocking lever joint? It keeps slowly working it’s way out. I’ve slightly mushroomed the ends but it still wants to start working it’s way out after several dozen pumps.
