Took my Hatsan 125 th .25 cal Vortex out to the Strickland Range today to sight in my Included 3-9x32 Optima scope, Welp it was way outa wack at 25 yards, at the target it was about 2 1/2 feet to the right, the shot landing in between my target, booth3 and the one to my right, booth4, I did get it some what dialed in but both screws u&d l&r were just about maxed out, not a fan of this scope, would rather have one with mil-dots to be able to move between 25,50 and 100 yards with out so much guessing.
I do understand that it takes time to break in an air rifle and I am sure We'll both get better in time.
OK, Two more things, 1, that guy that had the AK-47 short barrel four boots down, made my beard move every time he fired a shot and 2, I think I need to Start eating my Wheaties so I can stay st the range longer, My arm got tired after about 40-shots of my break barrel, that vortex piston aint no puppy LOL !!

Check your rings/mounts. That may help with your scope being close to maxxed out.

I thought that strickland gun range (right off williamson) was shut down. I haven't been there in 15 years or so. Is it still in the same place and how did the range master or other guys feel about an airgun there instead of a powder burner.
I have been wanting to shoot 50 yards plus for a real long time.

No, they moved it out by Tiger Bay off of US92.

I am not sure I understand what you are saying. The screws that adjust the up and down And the left to right
are at a point that I dont think I can turn them 1/2 more and are at the far end of there adjustment ..... hummm .... when I started out sighting it in it was so far to the right by the time I got it close to center the
screw was turned to the left so much that there was maybe 1/2 turn left .... I hope I am expressing my self correctly ??

If you're out of turns on your turrets then maybe your rings aren't set right on the rail. Sometimes reversing your rings will help. Is your scope centered over the bore?

Dave, Thank you for your input. I cant answer your questions right now but between today
and tomorrow I will.

Dave, After reading your post I took a good look at my rifle, by that I mean looking down the barrel, Not from the butt end but the Front sight end ( for the lack of a term) something I would not have thought of but Thanks to You I did and found that the scope was Off, I took the rings off and put front to back and turned the lock screw from right side to the left side, now I have to get to the range to test and tune and see where I am at, I'll keep you posted and Welcome your Thoughts.
Thanks again for your help. ~Drifter~
