That's awesome that you can set up your own personal shooting range, Brandon! What's the maximum distance?
I envy you, Brandon!
I hope to build another in the future at 100 yards and 200 yards.
That's a great start Brandon! Can't wait to see it all completed. Those rail road ties are heavy!
Great set up Brandon. Looks like you have a lot of space there. Nice!

Update on the shooting range, got some ag lime dumped behind it all 10 tons of it! Ag lime is super cheap if you buy it from a quarry. It was 4$ a ton. Really shouldn't have any fear of shooting now. Its about 5 feet high. And goes back about 5 feet. Now i just need some steel targets. Bought some .22 lr targets to add to the field targets i all ready own. Purchased a heavy duty pistol spinner for my pistol and any high power air guns that come out. Cant wait to have people over next spring to do a bunch of shooting. I still need to add some tires to complete the v and possibly add one or two ties to the top.

Nice looking Berm/Backstop Wow. I've got a Heavy Duty Burchwood Casey double spinner that I bought a while back. It is their 44 Mag one. They were selling them on Amazon for $25. It is perfect for longer ranges. The upper spinner is 3 inches dia. and the lower one is 5 inches dia. I have it set out at 65 yards at the base of my berm. My berm is not anywhere near as NICE as yours but it does the job and will stop 22lr and 12 gage slugs... 30.06 Too. It is made from sand covered by lawn clippings and Fall leaves etc. Behind it I have wind fall branches, cut up oak logs and such. Mine is 5ft high x 10yrds long x 10ft deep. It looks like a big long leaf pile. Now YOUR's is a work of ART ! Very Good Looking ! Best Wishes & Good Hunting - Tom
It's looking great Brandon.
Thank you jerry, going to have to have you come out some time before it snows
