How much did you pay for it if you don't mind telling?
I glued on mine. JB-Weld works fine. Get everything clean, then lightly sand the contact surface of the sight...then when you drive in a mounting screw to remove it, all the glue stays on the sight.cheers,Douglas
I just scored a near mint, made in Racine, Wisconsin - Sheridan Silver Streak at my local gun shop!I want to put a peep on it, but see a lot of them are labeled as being for guns made in the last 5 years.Any idea where to find one for an older gun? Also, it seems to hold air good - anything else I should look for? Thanks!

I mean with the design of the peep I would thing the leverage would be too great for even the slightest hit...Im a bit bias as I have tapped many thousands of holes it can be daunting to a first timer especially on a gun.CW

I ran it until I tried to remove it by by prying it off, and damaged the sight before I ran in a screw to jack it up to remove it.cheers,Douglas
