Going to put a .177 barrel on in place of the .20 cal on it currently. Luv the twenny, just a bit anemic in the R7 fps range.
Will I need to have some new rivets for the cocking linkage? Anything else?
===================
Harbor Freight didn't have the correct chain breaker so I just beat the frog sweat out of the rivet! Re-used it, tight enough to stay.
Gonna need breaking in, but the R7 & I are both happier.

Just get a pilot bit' drill the bore out with a cordless drill & silver solder a .177 liner in.

Even though I'm due to express some monumental stupidity through an action such as this, 25 years of sobriety allows me to take a pass here.
I'm not dealing with a WalMart special here.

You can more often than not re use the old one, drift it out from the easiest side.Then use a ball bearing & hammer to spread the end again.

I have swapped barrels many times on HW rifles.
A chain breaking tool (harbor freight sells them) will allow the pin to be pushed out
easily and without damage and may be reused.
