Tank questions

I am looking at the possibility of either a tank or a pump for the rifle I am looking at getting. I have not yet decided on one rifle over another, so that is another quandry.
With the rifle that I did have, I had a 3000 psi scuba tank that would get me a few fills, but was never able to get it 100% full, due to the rifle tube also being at 3000 psi. So I have been looking at different tanks, and buddy bottles and keep coming across the 45 cubic inch 4500 psi tank ( or higher ). With a rifle having a tube that can hold 3000 psi, how many fills can you expect to get from a 45 ci 4500 psi buddy bottle?
I have been looking around and have only been able to become fairly confused about all of it, and would rather spend my time out shooting the rifle, rather than pumping or driving to get her filled up as well.
Thanks in advance guys.

Hi Woogie_man,
Here is a link to a calculator that might help. I myself have a 106CF\4250psi scuba tank, it works great but is heavier than I want. I paid $550 for the tank, valve, and hose assembly. If I had to do it over again I would probably go with carbon because of weight. I have been looking at the buddy bottles too, just dont want to drop another almost $500 on a tank right now.

hope the link helps,

joe will get you taken care of, i havent done business with him but i know that alot of guys on the gta have and speak very highly of him. when im ready for a tank i will be going to him to spend my money. take a look at his site its full of information and is a great reffrence to learn about all the stuff for tanks
all i can say is if ur rifle is 3000psi a 4500psi tank will do you good.

No way to answer your question without knowing how big the air reservoir is on your gun.
