I remember when I got the opportunity to work with a pre-production model of the Gamo Arrow.  I was impressed with its lightweight and compact design, decent shot count, ease of filling with a hand pump, and, more importantly, its accuracy on target.  Today, we’ll take our .177 Gamo Arrow (also available in .22) and see how it does at 25 yards using the ATN X-Sight LTV 5-15 Day/Night optic.  Once we’ve done some testing, we’ll take some shots on our Gamo knockdown targets out to 40+ yards. Can this budget, backyard-friendly airgun consistently hit the kill zone out to 40+ yards?  Let’s find out!

I had a BSA Goldstar in .22 cal a long time ago.  But it was a spring piston underlever repeater.  Why BSA chose to name their pcp rifle the same name previously used on an entirely different gun is beyond me.  Bugs me, for some reason.
