Has anyone printed grips for these pistols that have parallel front and back surfaces?

I did a quick search for STL files for those Crosman models and came up empty. Seems perfectly doable, even better if the backsides are flat. There are other grips with STL files available (13xx 22xx series) which could probably be modified to work. If you can post an unskewed image of the outline of the grip (on graph paper would be ideal) , with some dimensions and thicknesses I'll see what I can create.

I don't have any graph paper, but here are some pics:
The measurement on the calipers 1.500"
And here is an example of an original grip:

Looks good, I should be able to work from these. I need to ask -- is this grip all one piece, or a left and a right side? I was assuming 2 grip pieces with the grips sandwiching the frame. If its all one piece I think I can still print it, but will need to know the frame thickness. And is the grip solid on the bpttom, or is there a rectangular cutout there? And a general idea of total grip thickness (grip+frame+grip) somewhere in the middle of the checkering. Also, if you want a thumbrest on the left side only? Or ambi, or lefty?
Please confirm my estimated measurements from bottom edge of frame to center of screw hole and bottom edge of frame to tube body:

Sorry for the delay. The original grip was one piece - enclosing the grip frame on four sides and it is solid on the bottom - extends about 1/4" past the frame bottom.
The back of the grip gives it a shape similar to a 1911 with and arched mainspring housing and it slides on from the rear.
I can live with the replacement being two pieces.
The frame is 0.485" thick.
Dimension from the bottom to the grip screws is 1.770
From the bottom to the top it's 3.830
I prefer an ambi style with no thumb rest.
Somewhere around 1.125 to 1.25 thick would be ideal.

No problem, I'll be working on this as time allows.
The 1377 grip file I found is pretty close in size and overall shape to be a good starting point.
Everything you said makes sense but a couple more questions --
Does/should the grip wrap around the front of the frame? If the bottom is solid I think that is the 4th side (left right back bottom) and the frame is exposed on the front? Almost has to be this way if it's one piece. And one piece should be printable so I'll stay on that plan.
The 1377 I'm starting from has palm swells and thumbrest --thumbrest will be eliminated, and do you want some contour to remain or pretty much just flat sides? (within your thickness request either way)
Attaching a silhouette view of your current frame/grip (close but not perfect) -- I'll try to keep the grip similar to this original shape if acceptable? I looked at some 1911 arched grips and some don't extend back quite as far, but it's pretty darned close on others.

The palm swell is good - no need for a thumb rest

Finally got a prototype designed and printed. Has a few warts and could use more artistic shaping, but quite functional. One piece. The gap measures .483-.487" so it may be a tiny bit snug. Right at 1.125" at it's widest. The grip area has a printed texture to it -- the shape of that texture can be changed -- I was just trying it for proof of concept and it looks great.
@Ascot500 Nikola, let me know what you think.

Thanks!
Do you have any cosmetic changes you'd prefer? I'm going to clean it up, try to reduce the "facet" look near the top front, and make the slot a hair wider so it is ~0.485 - 0.490" at the minimum. I may extend the texture up higher too.
Oh, it weighs about 2.9 oz. If that is too much I can print it with thinner walls. Or remove or reduce the bottom thickness. As it stands, this one is very stout, the two sides barely flex inward at all -- there is weight to lose if lighter would be better. Just let me know.

There is no need to change the weight.
Opening the slot width should help installing it.
Cleaning up the facet look is desirable, but not necessary.
I really like the texturing as it is.

Ok, I think I got it cleaned up as well as I can. Very minor changes.
Slot is now measuring 0.491-0.494 inches which should be a sweet fit.
Ready for a test fit I think. I'll PM you.
