PCP/CO2/HPA Air Gun Gates "The Darkside" / Re: Benjamin Fortitude Leak Question« Last post by billygee on Today at 07:05:02 PM »Yes, it is one of the side screws holding the valve.
Resulting in a nicked valve o-Ring that would seal back up reaching 2000 psi Not saying this is your issue, but was mine The valve o-Ring installation can be tricky, that is why I immerse the whole cylinder in water after a fill of 3000+ psi for a couple minutes To insure that the o-rings seated, I at times will bleed out the air to 0 psi, then refill to 3000+ psi and repeat the immerse test again Hope this helps solve your issue Bill 3

No consecutive letters from any poster, please. Once you post one letter and model or manufacturer, wait your turn until someone else has at least done the next letter. I'll start: A. Air Arms 4
Back Room / Re: Good morning! Are you up yet? What's your plans for today?« Last post by Sqrl Klr on Today at 07:02:31 PM »I traded in a 1971 corvette for a truck. Corvette blew up right after they sold it to someone else. Seems Chevy put one of the rods in backwards when they built it. How that car lasted 10 years with it like that....... It had a 454. With that much torque in that light car I bet you could smoke em in any gear. Gil, I always thought you were a beater truck with moonshine under the seat type guy. More of a beer/rum guy myself. Had a beater truck back in the day with a modified 350, posi track diff and off road tires which was so fun! Soon as you even thought about turning the key the engine was already started. I've never seen a engine start so fast and with the rumble and large pipes people thought it was a big block. I should've never sold it. Those were the days. 5
PCP/CO2/HPA Air Gun Gates "The Darkside" / Re: FX Impact M3 Power Adjustments« Last post by ranchibi on Today at 07:01:14 PM »My friend has an M3 700mm .22 and doesn't know much about tuning and I helped him tune it to shoot 18gr @ 970fps. I adjusted the second reg to 105-110psi-ish but I do not remember the macro micro wheel adjustments. On AGN there are threads for tuning for all M3 calibers with detailed settings FYI.

PCP/CO2/HPA Air Gun Gates "The Darkside" / Re: New JSB Hades Monster .22 - 25.39gr« Last post by ranchibi on Today at 06:56:05 PM »Well, you know the speed it's already accurate at (and can document settings) and the M3 is easily tuned via externally, I would jump fps up to 880-900 and check accuracy. The non Hades 25gr dome variants are accurate at speeds past 950fps but the Hades cut lines in the dome do not do well with those speeds usually.

German AirGun Gate / Re: Must be .177, must be quiet - is a HW30/R7 the right fit?« Last post by AntiRodentTaskForce on Today at 06:50:23 PM »Rob, if you are open to used, I'd definitely consider PCP, but you'll need to be careful to get a model that allows for doable and practical filling via a hand pump to stay within your budget. If you have to go compressor, you'll spend your entire budget just on that. Going used, though, may get you a rifle with a hand pump. And don't forget a moderator. Without a moderator, PCPs can be very loud with more of a high pitched crack. To put a cap on this thread: I ended up finding a cz200 (red laminate) in fine condition, and bought it from a seller over on another forum. New hand pump and used scope are on the way. This post above helped turn the tide for me. Thank you, North Country Gal, for your insights. Thank you to all who contributed thoughts, to help me make a big (for me) purchase decision. You'll see me in the PCP gateway with future posts. 10
Back Room / Re: So if you didn't do anything airgun related what did you do today?« Last post by Sqrl Klr on Today at 06:39:37 PM »Let that Karen try to run a tour and see how she deals with dopes who ignore her. They ignored your big arse twice and her little butt thinks they would have minded her better? You were way better than me waiting until the 3rd time to get sharp. I don't have patience with "foolks" like that at all.
