The font is the same size all the way across your post. Check your browser settings. I use Firefox and sometimes sizes seem to adjust themselves with no input from me. I can easily reset them, though.

on my screen the word sentence is much smaller. also there are [size=78%] in several places. you don't see this?[/size][/size]

Are you saying you are not putting those font face & size tags in?? The way to get a different size on this forum is for example [size=18pt]this is in 18-point[/size] size. (IOW, in points, not %. I put other tags in to make the size tags show.)

Exactly! When i move a word or sentence such as cut and paste, simply delete or backspace, the font gets really small. I then have to highlight it and change it back to 10pt. When posting, it then shows

Are you doing this on a smartphone rather than a real PC? Regardless, you should be able to see the tags that are somehow getting inserted, and delete them. Worst come to worst, you could write it in a text editor and copy and paste into the GTA "Post reply" window we're given here to write in which is not much different from a plain text editor though.

Which theme are you using in the "Look and Layout"?
I noticed when I changed to the dark theme "Ambassador" version from the original "Default", the quoted text got smaller. (and only the quoted text).

i haven't changed anything since coming aboard. i'm using a pc with windows 10, but it also happens with my android phone. there are times when i'd like to add to a topic, but the font changes and i give up and delete.
this software is the same as a sailing forum i'm on and i have never seen this happen on that site.
EDIT: i just checked my profile and everything is set to default.

I see the same thing Carl when posting. I just click on the far right arrow and then the double A's next to it to remove the unwanted formatting and return all back to the defaults.
