Hey guys do y'all know what size tap is needed to chase the threads in the top of the valve my nut won't start that holds the valve in place. Thanks in advance Terry

Don't know the thread size off the top of my head.
Have you tried starting the valve nut without the guts of the valve in there? Lead from the seal gets stuck in there. Tim at Mac1 airguns uses an old valve nut with grooves cut across the threads to clean out the old lead from the threads. WD40 is great for cleaning out lead. Just don't leave it in there. I have used WD40 and a brass shotgun cleaning brush to clean up those valve threads.

I had a chaser made from silver steel it's 21/32x32
