I have a Gamo G-Force Tac, and I put about 500 rounds through this little gun, and noticed it was losing a bit of the pep it had. I hadn't shot it in about a month and decided to, "pull'er apart". It was a bit different from the other spring guns I took apart, with the trigger group and rear spring guide being one unit. I got it apart and the small spring they had in it,( it is a low powered youth rifle), was canted badly. I took the spacer out and measured it and the coil against a B3 spring I had that came out of a brand new B3. I ended up cutting it at the length of the spring and spacer plus 4 coils. I left out the preload spacer because, I wasn't sure about the longevity of the plastic breech block if it was sprung to severely, and after grinding and polishing the spring ends and a lube job, installed it back in the rifle. Before I re sprang it, it wouldn't hardly go through a tin can at 10 meters, and now it will go through one,it shoots 7.9 chp's well, with no spring noise, and very smooth cocking. I was prepared to have to keep trimming till I got it right because I didn't know if it would be binding. I guess I lucked out on the first try as it is really shooting smooth and has a bit more power now.
