Daisy over Crosman
Horatio:
So, I’ve had a 2200, and a 760 on the Crosman side.
A 880, 856, and 850 on the Daisy side.
I’ve taken apart the Daisy guns and put back together, but the Crosman clamshell designs thoroughly kick my tail!
Anybody have similar experience?
If I get another cheap pumper, it would be the 901 over the 2100 for this exact reason.
Am I missing something?
K.O.:
yep cause the 766/2100/2200 is pretty easy to me.. ???
cobalt327:
Sam, how do you like your 850? I've seen a few of them come up at auction and they seem to sell well.
anti-squirrel:
Sam, what part of the clamshell is causing you consternation?
The 760 is a really easy to tinker with- having a total of like 3 metal parts (okay there's more than that). I've not messed with a 2100 much, not doing more than just a simple crown job on my neighbor's.

Mine came with a filthy barrel. Haven’t shot it yet.
It’s basically a 953 with a B.B. reservoir and really cheap stock.
I like the concept, we’ll see how it shoots.
