Field Suppy refurb Crosman 2100 arrived
Geoff:
The order was listed as arriving on the 26th by end of day .. Surprisingly it arrived today !
Looks very clean with no wear marks i can see .. I am certain it was pre owned as there were 2 BB's rattling around inside the stock. Quick shake and they came out the fill hole.
Did a quick drop of lube where indicated and did a quick shot test
Started with 3 pumps .. worked my way up ... got tired of all the pumping so gave up before i got to the 12 pump max listed on the box .. for what i would pest with this IF she shot well, 4 pumps is adequate ...
quick and dirty mini strings at varying pump levels ... each pellet his near the other at the 5 yards i have in the basement to test over the chrony ...
H&N 8.5 pellets used

Just in time for Christmas there Geoff !!! Merry Christmas ;D that'll definitely make a good back yard shooter for sure!
anti-squirrel:
If Crosman ever decides to do something about the loading port on those 2100s, I'd buy several just 'cuz. I still may eventually get one, but I see an 880 in my immediate future.
BrushPopper:
Those remind me of when I was a teenager, only air rifle I had was a 766 “American Classic”.
Rated for abt 660 fps, we thought that was plenty of pepper, for those days. Launched alot of green-can benjy pells from it.
It accounted for alot of squirrels, cottontails, bullfrogs.. even a swamp rabbit or two and 2 crows...
Been meaning to get another one, just for old-times sake.

Geoff, just wondering how the 2100 is working out. The Daisy 880 and the Umarex APX on my end are still functioning :- )
So far, I'm pretty happy with the refurbs from Field Supply, just wondering how the Crosman is doing ?
