The JSB Eaxct RS pellets recommended by AOA seem to be doing the trick. This target was shot this morning in the rain. The Chrono would not work because there was not enough ambient light. The squares on the target are 1" so the group is about 1.25" on centers. This is the best group so far. There are seven shots with the 3 brightest shots made fri in the rain. The flyer on the left was done with my Crosman 357 6" barrel, just resealed it and had to fire off a few rounds. I was aiming at the top left hand target.
It looks like this rifle has good accuracy potential with a little tuning and breaking in. I am dissapointed that this rifle is so selective of pellet type. but if it gets a little better I beleive it will be a nice hunter. Realize that I have a Tasco 3-9X40E scope on it, set at 4X, and I was shooting bench rest. I did hurry the shots a little. I will try again on a day with better weather and will experiment with lesser number of pumps.
Also note that the Shoot-N-See targets do not work as well in the rain. I guess that the coating being wet makes a diference.
