This is NOT expert information.But the 747 is one of a three part series of Daisy single-stroke pneumatic target pistols. The 717 is the basic version, the 747 adds a Lothar-Walther barrel, and the 777 then adds on that with improved metal sights, a better adjustable trigger, and wood grips. (Or some similar chain of improvement steps)These were (and are) very good pistols in their three price ranges. I do not have one - bidding generally get high.

I will post the progress on this project once I get the parts in which should be late this week or weekend. I never knew Daisy made this unique air pistol. The more I learn about it the more interesting this project becomes.
