Help with Chinese Hand Pump

1 of my 2 Chinese hand pumps starting having issues. It became very difficult to pull up after the first stroke, and would fail to build pressure. No problem I thought. I disassembled it, cleaned it, and re-lubed it with silicone shock oil. Same issue after the rebuild. Hmmmm, when this happened to my hill pumps, I would usually have to replace the smallest, high-pressure o-ring. Again, no problem I thought. I disassembled the pump and replaced the smallest o-ring. Same problem! Now I'm confused???
The small rubber bearing in the handle is totally clean. Also, the pump is very sparingly lubed and is not clogged anywhere. Does anyone have any ides of what I might try next?
I should note that I only use the pump up to 40 strokes and then let it rest for 15 minutes before using it again. So the pump definitely hasn't been abused. Also, this pump is only a couple months old with moderate use after an initial clean and re-lube.
Thanks!

Had a similar experience with several of my hand pumps. Turns out the little check valve and the transfer connection point needed a good cleaning and fresh o-ring on each of my faulty pumps. Another thing I noticed with my pumps is that the lightest smearing of silicon oil was just enough. Check Youtube for the many videos on rebuilding and trouble shooting these HPA hand pumps. Luck to you.

Same here. So far removing the base and disassembling and cleaning the valve there has solved three problems that all seemed a little different

All kinds of shooting is fun… I don’t care if it’s a gun, if it’s got a trigger on it it’s fun.

Yep, I totally cleaned those areas when I disassembled the pump. I'm still confused??? I may just use this for parts and pull out 1 of my 2 backup pumps for service.

There should have been a rebuild kit with your hand pump. Have you tried replacing the lowest valve & o-ring? Another question I have ideals with the weight of the silicone shock oil you are applying. I very lightly wipe on and utilize Super Lube silicone oil 100cSt that will quickly flow out of the bottle spout if I am not careful And my final checks would be concerning the condition of all o-rings; these hand pumps generate a fair amount of heat and the o-rings are a known disposable. If the o-rings are loose or stack up, tolerances are lost along with the ability of the pump to function. There is a lower section on one of my pumps that utilizes a pair (2) o-rings. If these o-rings are loose or come together, this particular pump will not draw air through a tiny porn in the sidewall. Oh, and verify there are no obstructions in your hose/ filter. You should be able to blow easily through the hose when disconnected from the pump. Luck to you.

This may help. Most pumps don't have liquid cooling inside them like the one in the video. Other than that the methods and parts are pretty much the same for most pcp hand pumps

Thanks guys. The next step will be to replace ALL of the o-rings. I'm going to wait to do this until another of my pumps takes a dump.
