Hi gang, old shooter, new to GTA forums. I've already found some great info here and the more I look the more I find. My current goal is 1"@100yrds (1MOA)
using a Wildcat III long barrel. After ordering from three different vendors, .22cal. sample packs, tins, boxes of slugs, of all dia. and grains landed on the shooting table. The best to date is a couple different slugs that will hold 1.5" 10 shot 110 yrd. I still have a lot to try and learn,,,,,yes life is very good!

1.5" at that range & a 10 shot group to boot is very, very, good. A little tuning here & there & it's likely you'll get down to that MOA. Wait for the perfect, windless day with your best ammo & go for it. Welcome to GTA.

1 MOA at 110 yards = 1.15" and i would consider a 10 shot 1.5" group at that range fantastic for a .22 pellet rifle. Great shooting and good luck.

Wow, thanks for the reply's, I posted to get on the map to find some others to shoot with. I'll do the map thing next. Just finished doing some test shooting to confirm a trend I saw while earlier testing. I chronographed (5) .216 dia. 31.2 g. (5) .217 dia. 31.2 g. and (5) .218 31.2 g. the .216s 5 shot avg. 822 fps. The .217 shot avg. of 802 fps. and the .218s traveled at a avg. of 757 fps.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, I was surprised at the spread being as large as it was. 65 fps. between the loose ? .216 and the tighter fit .218 dia. The smaller dia. .217 and .216 also group better! And Yup! live is very good!
