I searched for a long time, I think it was a post in one of DUYs threads, where he has photos of the poppet and such. Basically heat the old poppet cup till the hot glue the poppet is made of starts to melt, remove the old poppet material, heat up some insta morf, and the poopet, squish the insta morf into it, and insert the still pliable" may have to dip into hot water to keep it workable" poppet into the valve to set the shape, make sure there is no air gaps, trim off excess.
Do you think there's .2mm of play in the stem hole of the valve? I just got some 3mm O1 rod from Mcmaster but it measures closer to 3.2mm, do I need to take it down to make it fit?
To date, I haven’t had a mistake from MC, but that seems way off for “normal” tolerances. MC usually lists the tolerances, too.

I can When assembling a delrin or peek poppet with the stem going into a blind hole, would retaining compounds such as Locktite 638 or 648 be suitable adhesives?Any others?ThanksEdI use loctite 680.Thanks Tom

Good going Will, not to rain on your parade but don't be surprised if your regulator o-rings go next. I had just gotten my valve and poppet from Duy a few months ago when my regulator started leaking, and O-ring kit from Capt o-ring took care of it though.
