I was looking into a Texan also, but got a good deal on the Piledriver, less $ talks LOL, certainly a step up from 760s and 880s we grew up with. Hoping to get out this weekend and get some crony numbers from 6 different weight slugs, so I can make up some range cards.
"I am getting around 465 Ft lbs. with 340 grain slugs. At 10 yards it hits about two times harder than a .22 LR round."How is 465 fpe only hitting twice as hard as .22 LR? Aren't those more like 75-120 fpe? maybe you mean in terms of penetration and the slow fat slug isn't punching holes the same?
