Just got done cutting the M12x1.75 threads in the main body, and they're just as scary close to the top of the valve threads as anticipated, but it shouldn't be an issue. Unfortunately I am not allowed to post pictures at the moment due to a lack of posts so I'll just keep posting these semi-redundant updates until I can. I'm hoping I can get the time to finish the barrel on the lathe tomorrow, though it remains to be seen whether that'll be possible this week or not.I also went ahead and ordered a Huma regulator for the gun.
I also drilled out every part between the air tank and valve (so the gun is currently unregulated), so the plenum size will be 2-3 times bigger at least and the flow restriction is massively reduced. Before, all airflow from the tank to the valve was restricted by a .5mm hole as well as the very restrictive reg, but now it's 6mm at the smallest point.

How did you come up with 2 or 3 times bigger plenum compared to the original? The original plenum is 9mm by about 2 inches deep. so thats about +3cc give or take.
