HPDAAV compressor woes

I got the small HPDAAV compressor off of amazon earlier this month and it has been working great until this morning. It wont build pressure past 3000 psi. I plugged the hose and turned off the compressor to see if it held air or not. It is leaking on the second stage. I went to amazon and will be shipping it back and getting my money back. With only 2.5 hrs on it I expected a lot more out of this compressor and honestly even if it was a fixable problem at this point I feel like I will be better off sending this one back and going another direction.

Its the small one that looks like the Yong Heng compressors. I ordered a Yong Heng with the three year warranty so hopefully it hangs in the a while and I can save some money for an Alkin. The one Airgun pro shop has looks like an awesome compressor.

Did you check the burst disk?
I have a 'not a Yong Heng' and recently had the same issue.
The burst disk had ruptured, probably why they provided another 10 or so in the spare parts bag.

I could feel the air leaking from the second stage. I already got the refund process in motion from amazon and purchased a YH yesterday with the 3 year extended warranty. That should give me some time to save some money and get a really good one. One like the Alkin that Airgun Pro Shop offers.

Get the Vertical Alkin W31. It has wheels and is a breeze to move about! I was looking at the horizontal when Doug N. talked me into the vertical. Glad he did!

Thanks Thurmond I will have to burn that into my brain since it will be a while before I can afford it. Does it operate on 120v or are they strictly 220v?
