Backing off the hammer spring half a turn makes it a lot easier to cock. My Buccaneer(same gun longer barrel) shoots best with the JSB 15.89 or the GTO 11.75 pellets.
I would not touch anything until I got about 100 or so shots thru it.The cocking will get lighter as it gets broke in a little. There is a trigger mod using longer screws that make the trigger quite good.I hated mine at first but now its my go to gun for crows. I have mine turned up to full power.Keep in mind that adjusting the hammer spring effects power output.

You know what Frank. You're right. Just enjoy the darn thing. But I donhave a issue. I have no outside fill source and my trigger is super long. Thats it.
Everyone thank you for your feedback and all of you are right. Ssshhhh Honestly she's kinda already growing on me
Pick your self up a China floor pump. I don't know for sure what the max fill pressure is but think I heard 3000psi. That's easy with a floor pump and that's coming from a not so in shape 67 year old. Going past 3000 psi is a little harder. For $300 you could've got a ATI Nova Liberty which has a reg. You could've adj the reg down to get what ever power you want from the 27 fpe it comes stock all the way to it putting out the high 30's.
