I talk a walk for squirrels this morning and after missing one at 25 yards (held under...my fault) I decided to put the Raptor on the Born Wild Chair and see where it was at 100 yards. There was absolutely no wind at that moment so the timing was good. I had one clip loaded so I checked the holdover/mildots on the steel for one shot and then moved onto the shoot-n-see target. The pic below is the next five shots. Really impressive. I don't think I even have a complete tin through it yet. JSB Exact Jumbo Heavy 18.13 gr.

what kind of FPE are you getting out of the raptor with the 18.13jsb ?

You can shoot the 18.1 as fast as you want

realistically.... ???

Having a RAPTOR SS valve in my warp and running on 2100 psi .... with jsb 18's have hit 1100 fps and there was more there.  So IMO you will be able to shoot them far beyond there best accuracy, so whats the point ???
Exactly!!! The fastest I see them accurately is around 950ish give or take.

my careerII will accurately perform 51.7fpe (1133fps) all day long
with the jsb 18.13gr.
my guns are not paper shooters and i'm wanting to know whats to be expected
in power performance.

Just curious if there are certain barrels or platforms that have allowed pellets to fly accurately at 1100+ fps? The raptor is the first air rifle that I have owned that could really push pellets over 1000 fps.
I have read posts but never was able to come to a conclusion if those super high speeds were repeatably accurate? Like I said I have no clue but would like to know ;D

Stay subsonic with pellets Ive seen no evidence what so ever  of pellets shooting good beyond sonic and can say from all my experience nothing good comes from supersonic shooting. If you do a search on any forum its clear to see that pellets shoot best from 850-980 depending on barrel twist rates and any thing above that is marginal or just plain bad.

You need to frame your question more clearly I provided and answer and if it doesnt answer your question then add more detail to your question so it can be clearly responded to. No need to get upset im trying to answer your question and have no idea why you think its BS.

i ask a simple question..no need to frame it
'what kind of FPE are you getting out of the raptor with the 18.13jsb'
the answer should be an FPE figure as i was questioning the OP of this thread based on his 100yrds target, i quoted steelhead for his response.

I answered that question twice. I do not shoot above 980 in any air rifle and usually set it around 930-950 fps with any grain pellet so if you need more FPE shoot heavier ammo at the same FPS 930-950. His gun is tuned to shoot the 18.1 at 935 fps as i sent it to him at that tune. Does this answer your question Im doing my best to reply to your questions. It Can shoot faster WAY FASTER but this is where I find the best accuracy to power.

Then that settles it for me... I have way too much money invested to have them all eaten by one.

So IMO you will be able to shoot them far beyond there best accuracy, so whats the point ???

my question was for a straight answer and what was givin was just BS.
my careerII will accurately perform 51.7fpe (1133fps) all day long
with the jsb 18.13gr.
my guns are not paper shooters and i'm wanting to know whats to be expected
in power performance.
after reading the last reply, i'm not interested.

Not at anything approaching distance it won't. I don't care what brand of AG it is. GenDoc, why do you have to come off like a horse's rear so often. It gets tiring! You know full well that the shape of pellets prevents any distance shooting at high fps. Not kool Doc!
