The OPENED TOP HAT and TAPERED Spring for your valve, as I had sent everything back when you replaced it. I know it was regular Air Mail and said about 2 weeks? Has been near 3 weeks and is fine if it was sent?? Just wanting to play with it. I made mistake with TEX………I know not to fire with tank off as you said customer did…….I had tank off and was trying to de-cock…I do it all the time with tank ON but I guess I had cocking lever not in exact position and fired spring when touched trigger…..I had to drive hammer from hammer tube with the peened over edges etc……I GUESS the STRIKER RELELASE was needed after I dremeled all smooth and hammer in housing slid back and forth nicely…..Tried firing after re assembly and didn’t open valve……Pulled apart again and hammer is DRAGGING and GOUGES in it from where striker fits up in hammer slot I GUESS, as only thing that fits in that slot?…….Ordered parts and takes a week for me to get them……They sent STRIKER, which I call HAMMER and NOT part needed………Called and got on same page with them and written up as STRIKER RELEASE this time? So for 3 weeks now waiting on parts??? What do you find needing replaced after dry firing when NO TANK ON? Thanks………….Carl
Wayne;By not separating paragraphs, it could easily be taken by a reader that the Texas Valve and what Travis and Scott are working on with the WAR Valve are somehow connected. I had to read twice, and I know they are not in any way involved. But a reader not following both, or either, could easily make a connection that do not exist. I would not enjoy in any way, seeing any thoughts of Travis or Scott's name even remotely connected to this situation by accidentally implied association by nothing more than a simple mistake in typing. Trust me, it can happen. I Hate this dangerous situation has happened, and I hope that Randy or anyone else at R&L were not injured with the valve failure. A truly scary situation with any PCP. And I will be the first to admit, that I have become complacent. It is a bit sobering! Knife
