Bantam, good to go 80 after 60 ... FX Dreamline

My 177 Brocock Bantam with 480cc carbon fiber bottle gives me 80 accurate shots from 160 bar (2321 psi) down to 135 bar (1958 psi).
To repump, it takes 7 fairly easy pumps to pressurize the fill hose. Then, 60 relatively easy pumps to that maximum of 2321 psi. It's less than 1 pump stroke per shot (14.5 fpe).
Before I got the Bantam, I wanted a FX Dreamline but by October last fall I got tired of waiting, looked up reviews of the Compatto and Bantam then bought the Bantam ($900 set up with adjustable cheek piece and butt stock; 7 lbs).
Even though the Bantam is unregulated, the 80 shot sweet spot is something like 2.5% ES.
Now ... the Dreamline is out and all the early reviews are highly positive. Look at the groups being shot with a .22 Dreamline.
The AMP regulator tested out at 1.3% ES; the tightest string I've seen anywhere.
So ... I don't need both, that's for sure. I'll wait until I see some GTA members reporting on their Dreamlines before I think about it too much but it sure seems like a pretty great airgun.

There seems to be a lot of drama with the FX line on here lately. Those are the type of groups I hope to get out of my Evanix Air Speed, so it definitely looks like they have a winner. Like you, I’d like to see some real world testing from fellow members of the GTA and possibly wait till the dust settles a bit at FX!
