Greetings
We are looking for charter members for an air gun club. However, if you just want to get with the guys and shoot once in awhile, that's all good also.
So we have a nice little shooting spot. No range fees or lines. We are just South of the Green Swamp and slightly North of Lakeland.
We are 50 minutes from the Tampa Airport. 50 minutes West of Disney World, 30 minutes South of Dade City and Zephyrhills.
We are gathering this Sunday Oct.19th, 2014☆☆☆ to shot targets, spinners, paint balls from golf tees, etc. and just having fun.
We have lanes out to 100 yards on private land in a pasture surrounded by larger trees which limits wind.

Check out Desoto Airgun club in Arcadia. Established AAFTA AG club, and they had a FT shoot yesterday that I attended. Couple guys from ZHills area were there. They shoot every 2nd Sunday of the month.

After being in two major car wreacks, and a recent one that total my truck, I don't drive past the doctors offices. Arcadia is 4 hours round trip for me. I might try a one time visit, but thats too much driving for me to handle on a monthly basis.
I am really trying to find something up to an hour. I don't mind sharing my personal shooting area with a group. I have enough shooting setups for 6 people.
Meaning table and target backing. 25, 35, 60, 75, and 100 yards.
actually I have 2 seperste 50 yard lanes, with room for more.
Also I have devised a target backing system that costs $21 bucks.
I get 1" odd cut plywood which slice in half for $6 so with the clamping work stand and a 1" target backing, its a ez setup. The backing lasts for a really long time and can be turned over when too many pellets make big holes in it.
So if we grow past my 6 setups a member only has to invest $21 bucks and they can fold up and easily haul in car or truck.

Well that stinks for you GP. Sorry that you have those limitations have been forced on you, to miss out on regular meets. Great bunch of guys, 4 of which attended the Nationals in Heflin.
If you are interested, I'll pass on the info for an upcoming "run what ya brung" 25 and 50 yard BR competition in Dade City when I get the details.

I will check on my driver and see if I can bribe her into driving me down to watch the big boys.
