For the benefit of others, as well as Lees reputation as a tuner, I'd just like to comment on a tuning job he did for me.
A little over a year ago I sent my Beeman R9 to be tuned by Lee. During the tuning process, Lee, without my asking, kept me informed and up to date on the progress of the tune. At the end of the process, what I got back was beyond my expectation. My R9 trigger was even lighter, crisper, and smoother than before. In fact the entire shot cycle was smoother and better than before.
My sole reason for getting a tune job done on my R9 was because of people on this forum saying what a big difference a tune makes when performed by a good tuner. To be honest, I didn't truly believe the hype. However I am now a 100% believer. I've put well over 1,500 pellets through my R9 over the last year, and every time I pick it up and shoot it, I appreciate the job Lee did on tuning my gun. I am a die hard springer fan, and as a result of Lees tune, my R9 is one of my favorite guns I own.
So for anyone considering getting a tune on a springer, I would highly recommend Lee for your consideration. He not only kept me informed during the tuning process, but he also followed up about a month later to ensure I was happy with his work. That's customer service you rarely see.
