Here is wishing all of my fellow FT shooters a happy holiday season!Getting together with friends at a field target match is sorta like Christmas morning for me. Every time! Both celebrations start with smiling friends (family) gathering to hide gifts (some rather steely) under trees (or on the side of a dirt bank and sometimes 55 yards away?).Then we gather for a quick invocation (safety briefing) before squadding up and heading out to discover our gifts (or lack thereof).Sure, we all can remember those times when we didn't get everything we hoped for (!) but it's still very exciting to start the morning with high, high hopes and childlike wonder. Then, after the frenzy of activity is over and all the mess is put away, we take time to share a meal, tell some tales and shake some hands before the gang splits up and everyone heads home.To all my field target buddies, thank you for your company this past year. And if I haven't yet met you, I probably need to! Let's go shoot!!Merry Christmas, everyone. Here's hoping Santa's reindeer leave pellets under your tree.Well ... you know what I mean.B
Deer pellets .... what caliber would you like ?I sense a business opportunity for the coming holidays ... size/ caliber sorter for
That's a fun comparison! Merry Christmas!
I hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas Bob!
