Go no further. Contact Crosman with your story. They should provide a prepaid label to return it if it is within its warranty period (and I presume it is). They generally have fantastic customer service.
Let's avoid turning this into a bashing/flaming session, it's against the forum rules anyway.I'll toss out my 2 cents worth. I've done business with Sergio for several years. And I know some history back from the Cobra Airguns days when he was their machinist. I have his multi shot breech and shroud assemblies on at least 2 of my Disco's. You can find a couple of mine in his website photo gallery. He makes some fantastic stuff. He at times does lack communication skills. And yes, I believe THAT trait alone can make or break a business.Sergio is more of a worker bee. He WILL stand behind his products and he WILL make it right. I had an issue once years ago with a breech that lead me to make contact with him the first time. That was just as he was about to branch out on his own as a vendor. Anyway, I have in the past relayed messages from GTA members to him with their concerns. He was always quick to respond. I have just sent him a message about this one and we will see if he responds via email. I'll let you know when and what he responds to me. And I personally wouldn't hesitate to buy his products again. Hang in there....
Damon, no harm no foul. I was just warning others to not turn this into a bash fest. You are quite fine stating facts and asking advise. And also expecting to get support from the vendor. I hope it works out to your satisfaction.
With internals being slightly loose in the shroud, I would try using an "0" ring the size of the inside dia. of the shroud between the last baffle and the cap. Works on many AG's. Knife
