A Louisiana Hunt

My brother is now hunting the woods I hunted when I still lived in Louisiana. He also found a small patch of woods right across the River that a friend of his owns. So now he has two permissions to hunt. Both are loaded with Fox Squirrels. Yesterday morning, he hunted his second permission with fine success. He literally limited out in 30 minutes. He is still using the Discovery .22 that I used before moving to Tennessee; and it is even more deadly in his hands.
The hunt took place yesterday (October 23) in the Maurice area - west side of the Vermilion River in Vermilion Parish. That was his first hunt of this season.

Good for your brother Mike! You both live in two beautiful states, both great for hunting squirrels! 30 minutes for his limit…that was quick! LOL!

Yes, Randall,
quick
is what I thought too. But my brother is a much better shot than I am. He takes after our father.
Thanks for looking in on this thread.
Stay well my friend.
